I am Weldegebrial from Ethiopia, graduated by DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) from Addis Ababa University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, which is the earliest university in Ethiopia. Currently I am working in the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research, in the pastoral and harsh area of the country (i.e. Afar region). The livelihood of Ethiopian pastoralists is mainly dependent on their livestock. But Animal diseases are one of the most constraints for their livelihood. Though it is my dream to solve the problem of animal diseases by investigating new technologies on animal disease control and prevention, the knowledge and experience which I have do not allowed me to do so. Therefore if you give me a scholarship opportunity to upgrade my educational career, you will in turn help my poor country.
