Position Title: Videographer

Department: Marketing and Communication

Reporting To: Creative Design and Production Lead

Contract Term: Pool (Indefinite Quantity Contract)

Duty Station: Addis Ababa

We are looking for Creative and Technical Videographer to capture and edit moments of events, people, objects or scenes for records, art or commercial use.

Key Result Areas:

Communicate and articulate ideas and capture moments using camera, lighting, and audio equipment;

Edit captured video to tell concise, visually pleasing stories.

Scope of Work

Direct brainstorming meetings, creative sessions and direct people to capture specific action and even with the camera;

Promote creativity and open ideas within the team.

Offer fresh, strong and unique films and video.

Creativity and a passionate interest in film and video editing

Keep all video and audio equipment in good working order, replacing pieces as necessary.

Job Requirements

Background

BA Degree graphic design, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant field

At least four years of experience practicing videography and video editing

What would get us excited?

Experience working in creative agencies, public health, NGOs and/or the social sector.

Experience in creating design, videography, video editing and communications that deliver impact.

Good in computer skills to work with various video editing software programs, such as Adobe CS and Cinema 4D

Creative Problem-Solving Skills.
Someone who can offer fresh, strong and unique video footage.

English language speaker.

Able to begin work immediately.

Flexibility is highly desired
