Manage a team of technical staff to ensure quality, timeliness, and efficiency of all products and services generated under the program
In collaboration with the Strategic Information Director, ensure consistent generation of quality data for timely decision-making at all levels
Lead work plans, and review and track performance
Ensure responsiveness to donors, the Government of Ethiopia and stakeholders on programmatic matters
Serve as the principal institutional liaison to Government of Ethiopia regional structures and institutions
Oversee day-to-day program management
Lead national level epidemiological thinking and thought leadership on key and priority population programs
What are we looking for?
A Masters degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related fields
Minimum of 10 experience in implementing and managing large health and HIV programs involving multiple partners, in/for Sub Saharan/developing countries
Minimum of five years of experience in designing, implementing and managing community based HIV programs, institutional/ organizational capacity building, in sub-Saharan/developing countries
Demonstrated strategic vision, interpersonal skills, and written and oral presentation skills in English
Demonstrated capacity to build and maintain productive working relationships with a wide network of internal and external stakeholders, including host country government
Desired Qualifications
Proven thought leader
Epidemiologist with solid program experience
