We are looking for an open Minded, friendly, confident and active listener communication Specialist to help the leadership of the PSI/Ethiopia WASH team adhere to high standards of English writing, editing, presentation, and visualization of data and program learning.

The communication specialist will be based in Addis Ababa, will have proven, superior English communication, design and presentation skills and creative, clear storytelling on evolving WASH business solutions for rural and peri-urban communities in Ethiopia.

The communication specialist will work closely with the PSI/E WASH business development and marketing teams to package program learning into communication products for audiences internal and external to PSI.

The specialist will also be able to compile field-generated data, analyze trends, and visualize the analysis as compelling charts and other presentation formats.

Your contribution

You will:

Write original English content and edit already produced work for internal and external audiences to an exceptional level of quality, including technical and business-related material

Produce quality communication products synthesizing program and technical learning
Work independently with guidance from the program team and minimal requirement of further editing

Provide ad-hoc communication support as needed


Your deliverables

English language writing and/or editing, as needed, of briefs, learning notes, social media posts, PowerPoint presentations, and other communication products

Visualizations (chart, graphs, etc) for use in written and video/animation formats
Program reports (or sections)
