Plan NGO Child Protection Specialist Vacancies in Kenya
ResponsibilitiesThe Child Protection Specialist provides technical support in planning and implementation of Child Protection Program in the project areas.
He/she is accountable for the quality of the program in the project areas and responsible for coordinating activities of Child Protection Program including the systems of quality control, monitoring;
Evaluation and integration of other programs. He/she provides technical support in institutionalizing Child Protection Policy.
Review and analyze relevant baseline survey results on Child Protection, information and research works at local, regional and national levels,
Review and provide inputs on reports and documents from the project prior submission to the country office and other requesting partner offices,
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or other related courses. Registered Social Worker preferred.
Has relevant knowledge and skills in community-based Child Protection system, project management, case management.
Has at least five (5) years’ experience in implementing Child Protection programs, three (3) years of which in the community development sector doing research, planning, developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating child protection programs.
Has relevant knowledge of Child Protection Issues and programs in the Philippines or systems of other countries
Has good command of oral and written communication.

Plan NGO Program Implementation Manager Vacancies in Kenya
Responsibilities
Manages the finance, administrative and operations support of the program area;
to actively be involved in resource mobilization initiatives;
Manage the caseload and sponsorship communication items for the three Samar provinces; and;
Conduct ongoing performance reviews of the staff and counsels if necessary to improve performance.
Qualifications
Masters Degree in Social Science, Development Studies, International Relations or Public Administration, Development Economics or Management or other relevant courses.
Has relevant training on participatory rapid appraisal, participatory monitoring and evaluation, development issues regarding a child, development management, children facilitation.
Has at least ten (10) years' experience in development work.
Has at least five (5) years' experience in a managerial role, preferably in a social development setting.
Strong leadership skills.
Has good communication and facilitation skills.

Plan NGO Communications and Advocacy Officer Vacancies in Kenya
Responsibilities
1.) develop/coordinate and lobby to promote more effective policymaking at the national levels where the project is working;
Develop and maintain close contacts with national and local media on children’s issues related to On-line child sexual exploitation and abuse, trafficking, gender inequality, among others;
Organize press conferences and briefings, develop fact sheets and talking points, line up interviews and media related interviews, and
Represents and promotes Plan in important events in the community, city and national levels.
Qualifications
A graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, or Management or Social Sciences. A post-graduate
degree is an advantage.
Has relevant experience in Community Organizing/ Community Development; Program/Project Management; Event Organizing.
Has at least three (3) years' experience in doing advocacy work for children.
Has knowledge of the Child Protection Issues and programs in the Philippines.
Has good command of oral and written communication.

Has at least three (3) years' experience in the community development sector doing research, planning, developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating child protection programs.

Plan NGO Project Manager Vacancies in Kenya
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed implementation plan (DIP) based on approved grant proposal, project results framework and budget,
Supervise the project team/staff in implementing each of the activities laid out in the plans,
Ensure that all project operations related reports are accurate and submitted on time, and Ensure proper documentation of implementation processes of the projects.
Qualifications
University degree in social work, psychology, social sciences, public administration and/or any related field.
A post-graduate degree is an advantage.
Has relevant training on rights-based programming; community development; project management; child protection; child sexual exploitation and abuse; child trafficking; gender-based violence; and policy and program management.
Has at least five (5) years’ experience in program management within an international NGO.
Has demonstrated the ability to manage budgets and programs.
