We place a specific focus on girls and women, who are most often left behind. We have been building powerful partnerships for children for more than 78 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.
It is also guided by the current national and global context and the situation affecting children and young people in Uganda.
Education and Early Childhood Development is one of the five program Objectives. Our primary goal is to focus on quality, inclusion and governance in Early Childhood Care and Development and Primary Education, promoting enrolment and retention, particularly of girls in schools.
The overall responsibility of this position is to manage day to day implementation of the CLAC-ECD project interventions in Nebbi/Lira/Alebtong districts working in collaboration with other members of the project team and other project stakeholders (local government, NGO partners, Communities).
He/she will ensure that the project activities are implemented in a timely and efficient manner in a bid to contribute to improved Early Childhood Development in the communities targeted by the project.
He/she directly implement project supported interventions to achieve the set objectives and targets.
He/she will be a member of the Education and ECD team at national level and member of the Program Team at Program Area level. He/she will report to the ECD Project Coordinator
