Pentecostal Assemblies of God North Bukedi Pastorate ( Odusai CDC, Okisiran CDC, Nagule CDC) Pallisa, Baptist Union of Uganda North East Baptist Region Pallisa District, Pallisa Baptist church (Kaucho CDC), Perfection church and ministry Butebo District (Petete CDC), Agape Pentecostal Fellowship Kibuku District(Tirinyi CDC) and Uganda Christian Centre Kibuku District (Kapyani CDC) respectively, jointly announce the availability of ministry opportunities (Job vacancies) in child ministry in the following positions
Provision of information needed by sponsors/ donors, child development officers report to and are supervised by the project director.
These are team members and must exhibit a higher sense of integrity and they are members of church staff.
Core Duties and Responsibilities. Serve as an advocate for children and care givers
Take lead of the children's' and sponsor's' correspondence, communications and
child updates.
Ensure monitoring and tracking of child participation in the program
Initiate generation of annual health work plan
and coordinate its implementation with emphases on prevention of diseases among the beneficiaries with utmost Confidentiality.
Works closely with the local church in developing their child care ministry.
Responsible for physical, cognitive and economic development of the sponsored
children.
Plans and coordinates health related trainings, information, education and communication (ICE)

Knowledge, skills and abilities required.
Must be a mature born again Christian with a sound testimony.
Must have a professional background in any of the following:
Nursing, primary health care, community health, education, social work and administration, social sciences, development studies, communications and records management and any related discipline.
Qualification must be Diploma or its equivalent
Must have good interpersonal skills.
Experience and current knowledge of HIV/AIDS interventions, formal training in counseling and child development, project planning and basic accounting
procedures is an added advantage.
Must have computer skills
Good written communication skills and
strong verbal communication skills in English, Ateso and Lugwere is an added advantage.
Ability and desire to learn new things
Age limit. 25-35
