The Hospital is soliciting for qualified applicants for the position of Bio-Medical Technologist.

Essential Qualifications

Diploma in Biomedical Engineering.

Minimum of 3 years experience in the repair, maintenance and installation of medical equipment.

Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines

Must have high standards of integrity and ethical practice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conducts routine maintenance procedures for assigned equipment as set by the task requirement for particular equipment and installations.

Ensures all Bio Medical equipment are in good working condition and available to the users at all times.

Prepares a Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule and executes it for all hospital equipment.

Ensures that all hospital equipments are in good working condition at all times.

Troubleshoots and prepares detailed report to the Maintenance In-charge for action on the repairs / spare parts required to fix equipment.

Responsible for all repairs and maintenance tools and materials in their custody.

Observes and implements all requisite safety procedures and measures.

Implements and maintains ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
