Pamoja Trust (PT) is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 and dedicated to the realization of inclusive urban societies through promotion of access to land, shelter and socio-economic rights for the urban poor.

We take principled and pragmatic approaches to the protection and promotion of the right to the city through advocacy, social movement building and precedence setting models for realization of socio-economic rights.

PT has an annual budget of Ksh. 70 million and a staff of 15 who provide social, technical and legal expertise at local community, national and international levels.

Our staff is dedicated and mandated to champion urban growth and urbanism that adheres to social justice principles, and to ensure that national and international human rights standards are implemented in favour of the most vulnerable of urban citizens.
