  • Our Client, a Leading and the most innovative paint company in East Africa providing tailor made solutions to the construction and retail segments of the market with innovative products, services and world class after-sales support is urgently seeking to hire talented is urgently seeking to hire a versatile, enthusiastic and well-organized Area Trade Marketing Executive.

  • The successful candidate will acquire relevant branding permits and site licenses and ensure brand visibility is dominant by performing the following duties.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • To work with the Trade Marketing coordinator to leverage on the Corporate Brand Positioning and solidify the company’s superiority.

  • To confirm site measurements for payments to be processed.

  • To work with established channel strategies and implement associated plans

  • To visit ongoing brand projects

  • To follow the set promotional plan for the region

  • To execute marketing events and promotional activities

  • To prepare invoices for all issued marketing items

  • To work with sales team to identify, secure and brand site opportunities

  • To ensure that the relevant permits and licenses are acquired on time to avoid penalties

  • To liaise with the trade marketing coordinator to ensure that licenses are acquired, and the sites branded, in a timely and cost – effective manner.

  • To raise
    requisitions/job cards for contractors and pass them on for approvals

  • To provide weekly reports on sites visited and the branding progress

  • To participate in the implementation of EHS/ISO and good housekeeping standards.

  • To perform any other duties as required by Management.

    Key Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing or any other related field from a recognized institution.

  • Excellent communication skills (fluency in English and Swahili languages).

  • Excellent presentation and Negotiation Skills.

  • Ability to convert leads to sales.

  • Good trouble-shooting skills; computer proficiency is critical.

  • Flexibility in terms of working hours and frequent travels mainly within Kenya.
