Packers and Loaders – Nairobi

Packers and loaders will be responsible for placing completed products into containers and prepare them for shipment by weighing, labeling, and recording information about each package.

They will also ensure that goods are moved into designated locations, such as loading zones.

They will ensure that goods are well sealed and secured using adhesives, padding, and other products to protect the products.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure cleanliness of the working area and the warehouse
  • Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage.
  • Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging.
  • Put away damages in designated area
    Properly use packaging materials, including hand tools, glues, nails, padding, etc.
  • Take care of goods and protect them against damages by following the set operations guidelines like stacking.
  • Loading and offloading trucks as and when needed.
  • Any other manual and ad hoc work as may be allocated by the supervisor.

    Qualifications

  • Minimum O-Level
    Work experience in a manufacturing, logistics, wholesale environment preferred.
  • Computer experience will be an added advantage
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members.
