Pack House Supervisor Jobs in Nairobi County

Role Objective:

The Packhouse Supervisor should be a detail oriented individual with great supervisory and leadership skills to ensure that all foodstuff are packed for delivery in a timely manner to meet client deadlines.

Responsibilities

Enforce all product specifications and food safety protocols in the packhouse

Supervise and motivate the pack house employees

Prepare daily reports relating to food safety, production and performance

Complete forms on incidents and mechanical issues within the packhouse

Report employee issues to the Manager

Maintain all equipment to ensure there is minimum downtime

Ensure labels are made in good time as required for various products

Conduct spot check quality assurance on packed items

Liaise with manager on daily packaging requirements and supplies.

Qualifications

O Level Certificate

Conversant with health and safety regulations

Computer literate

Person Specification

An self motivated individual who can work for minimal hours independently

A friendly person with a positive attitude

Able to follow procedures with regard to packaging of various foodstuff

Ensure that all Food Safety and Health and safety procedures are followed

Must be a calm person with ability to work under pressure

Have good communication skills verbal and written

Ability to sit, stand and walk for long hours

A team player able to make changes as required

Ability to work in a cold storage house for long periods.
