Job OverviewTake the lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new engineering projects to create and nurture business opportunities.
Specific Responsibilities and Duties
Writing proposal and presenting proposed building projects
Preparing financial and technical proposals of projects
Devising strategies for driving sales growth across the business.
Preparing feasibility studies and business plans as needed.
Working closely with architects and engineers on projects
Analyzing existing approaches to the development of business and making changes where appropriate.
Setting targets for new business development for the business development managers and executives.
Implementing new business initiatives across the new business and sales teams.
Working closely with members of the team to generate new business within large accounts.
Identifying sales opportunities as a result of market changes.
Setting up meetings with prospective customers to sell the company’s products and services.
Implementing sales incentives to drive sales performance within the team.
Forming strategic partnerships with other companies to leverage their existing networks.
Negotiating contracts with customers and ensuring their profitability.
Working with the marketing team to devise marketing materials and tools to support new business teams.
Monitoring customer satisfaction with existing clients to ensure service delivery.
Performs other incidental duties assigned by the Business Development Head.
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications and Skills
Bsc degree in Civil engineering/Architecture or related field
4 and above years of work experience
Working knowledge of design, construction and other related aspects
Good Professional, interpersonal and communication skills
Able to combine the business and engineering disciplines
Solid analytical skills and computer proficiency
Planning: ability to perform short and long-range planning
Excellent program and time management skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations
