Job Description

Oromia Development Association (ODA) invites committed, experienced and competent applicants for the following position.

Major Responsibilities

Responsible for planning program, implementation, coordination & supervision of all aspects of the project objectives are met.

Provides regular technical support to Woreda Health Office, Primary Health Care Units &, Schools & youth clubs.

Work with Education department to implement gender responsive teaching-learning & to mainstream AYSRH in the routine academic program.

Insure stakeholders & community support to address the socio-economic & RH needs of girls.

Facilitate regular review meeting & refresher trainings for teachers, HEWs & health professionals.

Insure accurate & timely collection of data, analysis & reporting based on the requirements.

Prepare quarterly & annual project performance report.

Responsible to perform other duties assigned by his /her immediate supervisors.

Name of Project - Adolescent & Youth Sexual Reproductive Health (AYSRH)

Number of position –Four (4)

Type of employment- one year contract with possibility of extension

Job Requirements

Qualification and Skill

Degree in Public Health, Sociology, Psychology and other behavioral science.

Written & oral communication skills in English, Afaan Oromo & Amharic is mandatory.

Basic skill in Computer

Work experience

Minimum of 4 years in coordinating health or related projects in NGO’s, government and private organizations
