Online Sports Betting Business Financial Reporting Accountant Jobs in Kenya

Position:

Financial reporting accountant

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or other related field.

Professional accounting qualification, egcpa or acca.

Ability to work independently and contribute positively in a team environment. Attention to detail, strong numeracy, verbal and written communication.

Computer literacy including spreadsheet skills. Reliable and accountable.

Financial reporting accountant will be based in nairobi to handle company financial processing and controls for africa business operations

Responsibilities:

Responsible for full balance sheet management for all african entities, including substantiation of all reconciliation work carried out by the team.

Support group finance director in embedding a culture of control and oversight for understanding and improving the financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.

Working closely with budget holders and ensuring financial records are are complete and variances to budget are well understood

Experience:

3-4 years of experience performing the roles of financial reporting accounting. Audit experience preferable.

Additional attributes:

Ensure all group requests are addressed timely and accurately.

Recognition of month end transactions to assist in an

accurate and fast close process. Involvement in budgeting and forecasting process.

Cash flow forecasting, including payments reviews.

Management of intercompany transactions and balances.

Review of annual financial statements. Prepare accurate and comprehensive management information within the timescales agreed. Develop strong, pro-active relationships with all advisers and become a key contact for auditors and banks.

Look for opportunities and efficiencies and drive new developments and enhancements forward for the team.
