One Acre Fund Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Enumerator Supervisor Jobs in Ethiopia
Major ResponsibilitiesSupervising data collection & reporting pertinent to operations to assess program success
Supervising and managing a team of 3 - 4 direct reports, conducting site visits & follow-up visits with farmers
Facilitating and leading weekly team meetings with field teammates
Managing working relationships with our Kebele & Woreda Stakeholders: focal persons, Kebele admins, Kebele development agents, and others as necessary
Reporting field challenges to the headquarters for mitigation
Performing other duties as requested by the supervisor
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications and Competencies
First degree from public university (preferably in Plant Science, Agroforestry, NRM, Statistics, or related fields)
Experience in field team & field work management (1-3 years), preferably in survey data collection management
Experience in in-field agriculture related survey data collection and management
Has rural area work experience and is willing to relocate to & stay in rural Kebeles
Born & grown or is familiar & knows the Woreda & Kebeles
Good algebra and geometry knowledge: reading or measuring using tools and calculating values
Able and is willing to walk long distance on foot in remote rural Kebeles everyday
Has own smartphone (battery lasts longer than 24 hrs/day) & willing to use own smartphone for data collection
Be able to understand, explain and follow (survey) instructions
Excellent communication & team work skills, hard worker, flexible and problem solver

Applicants must bring copies of Kebele ID, degree certificate & work experience when coming for the exam
Applicants must produce proof that they are living in the Woreda or have worked in the Woreda before
Should not be working for another office. The offeree must produce clearance from their recent employer.
