Job DescriptionOne Acre Fund – Ethiopia is partnering with the Amhara Regional National State to improve farmer incomes and environmental outcomes via agroforestry entrepreneurs and teff seed multiplication.

Number of Positions: One
Preferred Start Date: Immediately
Duration: one-year, renewable
Salary: ETB 6257 – 9197, depending on qualifications and interview / testing performance
Duties and Responsibilities
We are a small team and thus this position provides the opportunity for a hard worker to learn and do many different things:
Contract administration, including relocation and termination related letters
Payroll, pension and tax administration
Recruitment CV review, test administration and candidate screening calls
New hire orientation and set up
Health insurance and benefits administration support
HR-related data entry, data request responses, leave tracking and employee file management
Setting up conference calls, meetings and remote trainings
Special HR and People projects as assigned by your supervisor (when time and skill allow)
Special projects are the key to growth at OAF, and we want someone who is excited to grow their responsibilities through projects outside of their core responsibilities. Special
projects in the first year might include things like checking performance reviews for quality, facilitating a typing club or translating / communicating HR policies.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Required Qualifications – these will be verified and tested during the selection process
University degree
Minimum one year of work, business or volunteer experience
Excellent communication and social skills
Excellent attention to details
Good problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
Good computer skills - in email, Excel and Word
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications
University Degree in a related subject (HR, Management, Law, etc.)
2-3 years of human resources work experience
