Reporting to the Administration Officer, the Administration Assistant is responsible for
Assisting in all administrative work according to laid down procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in ensuring office equipment and machines are in working conditions and are
used according to laid down procedures.
Supervise the maintenance of the Company’s furniture, office equipment and
machinery.
Assist in ensuring all property in the Company is insured.
Assist in handling workmen’s compensation.
Assist in ensuring insurance premiums are paid on time.
Assist in ensuring all departments have the right numbers of support staff –
Secretaries and cleaners.
Assist in ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to and make
recommendations.
Qualifications, Competencies and Experience
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education C-
Diploma in Human Resources Management/ Administration or equivalent
Degree in Human Resources Management/ Administration is added advantage
Over 2 years’ work experience with at least 1 years as Administrative Assistant
Must have modern computer skills/ proficiency with experience.
