One of our clients based in Lubumbashi, DRC is looking or an Operations and Logistics Manager.

The Manager will be responsible for the overall organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of Petroleum products.

The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction. The ncumbent wi be based n LUBUMBA SHI.

Responsibilities

Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service.

Ensure that distribution, logistics and operations of petroleum products is well managed;

Prepare product demand forecast based on historical sales to determine product order quantities.

Monitors processes involved in the supply chain by liaising with relevant parties.

Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

Supervise Business Development Team, through planning and implementing sales, customer relations, and sales team development programs.

Implement Policies, Procedures and Methodology o mpro ve cost effectiveness and integrity within the supply chain.

Identify and evaluate current and new customer potentials, prioritizing opportunities or closure.

Monitor the effective and efficient operation of petroleum products network

distribution system.

Draw and manage transporter’s contracts and all fuel agreements with other oil companies.

Monitor stock position and produce daily reports and as when required and Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by superiors

Job Requirements

Holder of Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical and Process Engineering or an y other related field.

Proven 10 years and above working experience in Petroleum Logistics & Distribution, 3o which must be in a senior Management Role.

Record of successful distribution and logistics management Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff

Proficient in standard logistics software

Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skils Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain

Must be consumer oriented and focused on strategic stakeholders; Must demonstrate integrity and professionalism
