Job Description

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior officer.

Terms and Conditions of Service

Basic Salary: Kshs.62,339 - 78,725 PM

House Allowance: Kshs. 16,500 PM

Commuter Allowance: Kshs. 4,000 PM

Leave Allowance: Kshs.15,000 PA

Annual Leave: 30 working days PA

Medical Cover and other allowances: As provided by the ODPC

Terms of Service: Permanent and pensionable

Job Specification

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) minimum mean grade C+ (Plus) or its equivalent from a recognized institution;

Bachelors’ degree in any of the following fields: Economics, Statistics, Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Finance, Economics and Statistics or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution; and

Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

Specific duties and responsibilities will involve:

Collecting, collating and analyzing data of programmes;

Compiling sector-specific draft reports;
Preparing of policy briefs

and reports on Data Protections;

Capturing data on budgetary requirements;

Uploading information in the National Integrated Monitoring and Evaluation System (NIMES);

Conducting monitoring and evaluation of programmes;

Preparing Strategic Plans and Annual work plans;

Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
