Oasis Healthcare Renal Nurse Jobs in Kenya

Oasis Healthcare Group Limited is a group of specialist Doctors working and operating across the country since 2010 under group-based practice model.

We currently have facilities in the following counties: Kisii, Nyamira, Migori, Homa Bay, Siaya, Uasin Gishu, Kitui, Nairobi, Kakamega, Bungoma and Nakuru.

The group seeks to recruit a qualified and dedicated individual to fill the following position:

  • Renal Nurse

    Duties and Responsibilities
  • Setting, monitoring and maintaining excellent standards of nursing care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team working in renal unit;
  • Assessing, formulating, planning and implementing evidence-based nursing care;
  • Initiation of dialysis, patient and machine monitoring during dialysis and termination of the dialysis procedure;
  • Maintaining personal contact with patients, relatives and caregivers while giving necessary education;
  • Ensuring that nursing procedures are carried out in accordance with the hospital policies;
  • Carrying out patient audits to improve client patient care;
  • Ensuring a safe environment for care of patients;
  • Ensuring documentation of all the interventions and nursing outcomes is done;
  • Prepare monthly reports for the renal unit;

    Qualification and Requirements
  • Diploma in Community health nursing from
    Kenya Medical Training College or any other recognized Institution;
  • Higher diploma in Renal Care from a recognized institution;
  • Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya;
  • Valid Practicing License from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
