Nyeri Golf Club General Manager Jobs

Responsibilities

Market golf membership and events to corporations and individuals and create a stable membership base, maintaining a high level of member satisfaction.

Actively create/innovate and host a variety of programs at the club to ensure member retention remains at the highest level.

Develop, recommend, monitor and update annual financial objectives and plans.

Ensure attainment of financial objectives and plans and to anticipate and address unfavorable variances to the financial objectives and plans, recommending and implementing recovery plans.

Prepare and explain financial reports to General management Committee and also provide periodic reports an other operations of the Club.

Select, develop, retain, motivate and evaluate quality staff and to implement programs designed to enhance employee morale and teamwork.

Hold section heads accountable for employee, product and service quality standards and expectations, and the physical condition of the club.

Ensure that the food and beverage meets the agreed to profit and quality expectations with respect to food quality and member service.

To manage all departments on a pro-active basis; promote and comply with all statutory and Club policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business Management or equivalent experience required.

Must have minimum five years of varied management experience in

the golf industry, hospitality sector or other relevant sector

Must be able to analyze a profit and loss statement and extrapolate information from it and related reports.

Decisive with global analytical skills.

Most have working knowledge of accounting and asset management systems.

Demonstrated ability to manage operations to ensure high levels of membership service.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to effectively manage staff to maintain a high level of morale and productivity.

Detail oriented, organized and efficient.

Safety-minded with high quality standards for production and service. The Perks:
