Nyeri County - Secretary – County Public Service Board - Jobs in Kenya

The County Government of Nyeri wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions in the County Public Service Board

Secretary – County Public Service Board

Requirements for Appointment

Be a Kenyan citizen;

Be a holder of at least a first degree from a university recognized in Kenya;

Be a certified public secretary of good professional standing;

Working experience of not less than ten (10) years; and

Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Secretary to the Board is the link between the Board and the Secretariat and is charged with the following duties and responsibilities:

Be the CEO and the Accounting Officer to the Secretariat

Preparing and circulating minutes and agenda for Board meetings

Developing annual budgets and work plan for the Board;

Providing technical support to the Board;

Conveying Board decisions: and

Any other duties that may be assigned by the Board.
