Job Purpose

Reporting to the Plant Technician, the job holder will always be involved in the operation of Lathe Machines to perform various maintenance activities of all factory machines to ensure machine availability and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

CTC Rollers sharpening

CTC Rollers changing.

Checking roller cutting efficiency.

Multi-purpose lathe operation.

General machine service.

Record keeping and update of documents.

Attending machines breakdowns.

Inspection of various factory machines.

Person Specification

Academic Qualifications

KCSE C(Plain)

(Professional Qualification]

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering(Plant option)

Experience

Must have a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in similar processing plant.

Skills and Attributes

Excellent communication skills

Keen to details

Be a team player

Be self-motivated

Excellent interpersonal skills

Computer literate in MS Office and other office applications
