Nyamira County Orthopaedic Technologist: Jobs in Kenya

Requirements for Appointment:-

➢ Atleast a Diplomain orthopedic Technology from a recognized training institution;

Registered with National Association for Orthopedic Technologist;

A valid practicing license; and

Proficiency in computer applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:-

Evaluate and diagnose the presenting case and document the findings;

Formulating clients/patient’s treatment plan;

Conduct disability Assessments;

Conduct school placement assessments;

Fabricate fix and follow up of orthoses and Prosthesis;

Sensitizing the community on Orthopaedic technology services including disability awareness and mainstreaming;

Participate in ward rounds;

Conduct Orthopedic technology outreach services; and

Advocacy for persons with disability.
