Requirements for AppointmentMust be a Kenyan Citizen;
Bachelor of law LLB degree from a recognized University;
Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage;
Post graduate Diploma in legal studies from the Council of legal Education;
Be advocate of the High Court of Kenya with current practicing certificate;
Must be a member of Law Society of Kenya;
3 years’ relevant work experience; and
Proficiency Certificate in Computer application.
Duties and Responsibilities
Undertaking research on assigned legal issues;
Collecting and collating research data;
Interviewing customers for proper referrals;
Maintaining a database of legal research materials for use by attorneys and other members of the legal profession;
Preparing briefing memos, reports, and other written materials summarizing research findings;
Writing legal briefs that present arguments based on research findings;
Identifying relevant legal precedents and associated case law for use in legal arguments or briefs; and
Conducting preliminary research to identify relevant issues and establish a framework for further research
