Vacancy

Qualified applicants are invited to apply to fill the following positions in Westlands, Nairobi.

Early Childhood Educator

  • For 3.8 year olds Qualifkation/Experience required
  • Montessori certified (AMS or AMI certification)
  • International Montessori teaching experience of at least 5 years for 3-6-year-olds.

    Nursery Teacher

    For 18 months-3 year olds

    Qualification/Experience required

  • Certification in Early Childhood Education specialised in toddlers
  • 2 years relevant work experience with toddlers (0-3 years old)
  • Fluency and experience M teaching children 3 - 6 years old a foreign language, preferably Spanish or French.
  • Both candidates must have a deep understanding of the Montessori methodology from Infancy to 3 years old and the first candidate up to Primary level as well as a good understanding of the Reggio Emilia approach.
  • They must be able to run their class right away, create new materials and have English fluency and written skills to handle communication with parents.
  • A strong understanding of focusing on children's independence and creativity Is a must.
  • The teachers are role models for the children and must be calm, polite and gentle and understand the importance of respecting the child.
