Nunhems Ethiopia PLC, established in 2015, is the Ethiopian entity of BASF Vegetable Seeds and part of the German Group BASF. BASF has activities in the Chemicals, Agricultural Solutions, Performance Products, Functional Materials and Oil and Gas Sectors. At BASF Vegetable Seeds we are dedicated to producing market-oriented vegetable varieties and seed products under the brand Nunhems and are committed to our customers.

Nunhems Ethiopia PLC is now recruiting qualified and result oriented Human Resource officer .

The Human Resource officer is undertaking a variety of administrative and HR related tasks. The Human Resource officer is the first point of contact for employees regarding administrative and HR related topics and will be handling various admin related tasks.

Your Responsibilities:

Acting as a first point of contact for employees regarding HR related topics.

In charge of HR records, employee files and compiling reports for payroll.

Communicating with HR Business Partners globally and External Relations

Managing the Payrolling process and fulfilling all requirements

Managing databases and filing systems

Implementing and maintaining HR related procedures/policies

Preparing reports to the management

Contributing to the development of HR unit goals, objectives and systems

Job Requirements

Qualification

and Experience:

Holding at least a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Excellent written and spoken skill of English and Amharic language.

Possessing excellent coordination and communication skills.

Strong interest to learn, adapt and cope with any assignment.
