ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of open positions across the organization.
Develop a thorough strategic plan for reaching all recruitment and hiring goals.
Liaise with school leaders and hiring manager to design and execute a year-long hiring plan.
Set up the processes and systems that enable efficient hiring for each role.
Develop and implement a clear analytics strategy and approach towards recruitment using data at all time for decisoning
Refine pre-existing (and develop new) selection tools to ensure alignment between how we hire and what’s needed for each role.
Manage other team members to fulfill each step of the process.
Support Hiring Managers in making final hiring decisions
Design and implement innovative ways to attract and source top talent to the organization.
Increase local and international awareness about Nova Pioneer and the career opportunities available.
Plan and host outreach events at school campuses and attend events hosted externally.
Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and establish partnerships to expand reach.
Qualifications
At least 5-7 years’ experience in recruitment, institutional e.g. school-based recruitment
You have a proven ability to build strong relationships across diverse audiences
You are extremely detail oriented and can manage a lot of moving parts at once
You strive for excellence in every detail of your work and inspire and challenge everyone around you to do the same
You take pleasure in excellence more than credit or status

Nova Pioneer Director of Talent, East Africa Jobs Opportunities in Kenya
Responsibilities
Design, lead and implement a differentiated professional development program for staff across East Africa, including a robust program to develop emerging leaders and managers;
Manage and continuously refine all elements of the annual performance management process including: education and support to all levels of management regarding goal setting, feedback, coaching, appropriate documentation, and appropriate actions for performance issues
Support and develop all departmental and school leaders to ensure they are well equipped to consistently deliver strong employee development and performance management
Plan and facilitate world class professional development programs to large and small audiences
Support the application and continuous refinement of our competency framework, the backbone of our professional growth system, and establish the most efficacious ways to evaluate our staff’s growth and development
Build and manage a strong recruitment team that is able to efficiently review thousands of candidates every year and identify exceptional individuals to fill hundreds of critical roles as the organization grows rapidly;
Develop strategic activities to identify and attract top candidates to Nova Pioneer such as events, social media engagement, and partnerships with universities and other major institutions;
Manage and continuously refine strong recruitment systems that smoothly move candidates through a rigorous assessment process, including training and supporting hiring managers across the organization;
Develop and manage systems for cultivating great individuals who are not immediate candidates but who may be strong members of the Nova Pioneer family in the future
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree a plus
8+ years of experience in results-oriented, fast-paced environments. Some experience working on modern, progressive human resources/talent experience is required. Experience in the education sector is plus but not required;
Exceptional interpersonal and people management skills – your colleagues and teams love working with you and you are able to handle a wide range of personalities and people situations;
Experience driving talent planning efforts within an organization with a focus on systematic people development;
Excellent project management and ability to prioritize and effectively manage time in
a complex, fast-moving environment;
You are a creative, out of the box thinker, strategist and problem solver
You build strong relationships with an ability to inspire and motivate others
You hold high expectations for all people and believe in their ability to reach them

Nova Pioneer School Nurse Jobs Opportunities in Kenya
Responsibilities
Managing our students’ wellness and development and offering them psycho-social support as needed.
Maintaining close liaison with the Medical staff at the nearest Private Hospital consistently
Handle confidential situations, information and documentation.
Communicate effectively at all levels with students, staff, parents and other clinicians and paramedics
Inspecting boarding house facilities (toilets and bathrooms, laundry area) when pupils are away from the facilities and appraise the level of hygiene and cleanliness.
Qualifications
A professional, flexible and conscientious registered nurse with the ability to build a harmonious, energetic and cohesive relationship with students and co-workers.
Professional counselling skills with a proven track record will be an advantage.
Male Nurse preferred but not a must.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
You have 7+ years of experience in a rigorous, high-expectations school setting including instructional leadership roles (e.g., deputy headteacher, teacher coach.
You are widely recognized as a highly effective teacher and can model what great, inquiry-based teaching looks like.
You are excited about your own professional development, always seeking out opportunities to grow, whether by asking others for feedback, forming communities of learning with other school leaders, or seeking out training
You have a track record of improving other people’s performance through coaching, building uncommonly strong relationships, developing creative training sessions and sharing feedback
You have an exceptional ability to think strategically and yet you sweat the small stuff—people see you as unusually detail-oriented and conscientious
You have a desire to further develop your leadership skills and apply them to transform the lives of African youth
