About the Role

As a Facilities Coordinator, you will be specifically responsible for the following:

Carry out maintenance and light/minor repairs.

Carry out general renovations, paint work, plumbing and electricals.

Conduct investigations, evaluation, and restorations on identified general faults and/or

breakages.

Ensure that health and safety measures are observed,

Ensure that all safety incidents, accidents and near misses are reported immediately to the OHS Representatives and Associate Dean of Operations in the stipulated time frames.

Lock up all the buildings at the end of the day.

Moving and reshuffling furniture and any other school equipment as needed.

Keep and update inventory register of the tools of trade at all times

Undertake other related duties and assignments as assigned from time to time.

About You

Completed Grade 12; ideally you will have also completed a Technical Diploma or Certificate in plumbing/electrical

Knowledge of General Safety principles

Preferred work experience includes:

Building/construction 3 years

Gardening 2-3 years

General maintenance duties 3 years
