NIRAS International Consulting Team Leader - Water Supply and Sanitation, Malakal and Renk County Council Jobs in South Sudan

The Government of the Republic of South Sudan (GRSS) has received a Grant from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Strategic Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project (SWSSIP), and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this Grant shall be used for payments under the contract for Consultancy services for feasibility studies and detailed, engineering designs for improvement and expansion of water supply system and distribution network at Malakal and Renk County Council.

The services under this project include the following:

Reviews and Baseline Studies;

Water Resources Assessment;

Feasibility Studies and Pre-design Phase;

Detailed Engineering Designs.

Qualifications Required

Only the experts meeting the set criteria will be shortlisted and contacted.

Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Civil (Water Supply) Engineering.

Professional Experience Required

He/she must have a minimum of 20 years overall working experience

Experience and interest in working in remote and unstable locations

International working experience of min. 10 years.

Experience in management and implementation of water supply investment projects as Team Leader.

Strong experience in implementation feasibility studies design of water supply infrastructure is mandatory.

Experience in FIDIC Contracts Procurement and Management.

Experience in developing countries under harsh condition will be mandatory.

Excellent command of written and spoken English.
