NFT Head of Advertising and Digital Marketing Jobs in Uganda
The Head of Advertising and Digital Marketing is responsible for enhancing brand awareness and enabling brand preference.
The role holder is also responsible for developing and implementing integrated internal and external digital marketing strategy to support the delivery of key strategic objectives
Primary Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and execution of the corporate brand strategy.
Contribute to the development and implementation of branding policies and guidelines for the brand in line with the business strategy and goals
Put in place brand management processes and measure the effectiveness of branding initiatives and campaigns.
Ensure that selected tools for advertising are successfully reaching the target customer group.
Ensure the implementation, maintenance and enhancement of the MAF Retail’s corporate identity internally within the organization for brand architecture, communications, events, applications and externally
Manage social media marketing campaigns and monitor day-to-day activities
Oversee the development of strategies to drive online traffic to the company website, and track conversion rates and making improvements to the company’s website
Oversee research for various audience segments and requirements for content personalization
Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company.
Report notable threats to appropriate management.
Ensure the implementation of the performance management process
Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles
Identify training needs and coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of training requirements
Oversee the development and implementation of on the job-training
Ensure constant availability of the required competent staff to support the organization in meeting all its responsibilities, plans, and objectives
Provide inputs while developing MAF Retail’s corporate policies and relevant procedures, and monitor the implementation
Plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase
sales of products or services, working with customers, company officials, sales departments and advertising agencies
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and external agencies in order to drive innovative advertising campaigns
Inspect and manage layouts and advertising copy and edit scripts, audio and video tapes, and other promotional material for adherence to specifications
Work with marketing partners to understand sales goals and customer insights
Oversee the development of presentation of any digital campaigns to respective management
Oversee the management of projects during the development phase of applications, with an absolute focus on end users’ needs and requirements
Monitor allocated budget to ensure compliance and take corrective measures when necessary
Provide inputs on the development of annual budget
Review financial reports for accuracy and consistency
Develop necessary measures towards continuous reduction of the operational cost
Education /Qualifications and Skill
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or relevant
MBA in the same field advantage
Strong analytical and technical skills
Project management
Strong communicator and presentation skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
3+ years in a similar position
1+ years in retail business is preferred
