Job Title: Data Center/Site Engineer

Department: Delivery and Service Business

Number of Positions: 1

Duty Station: Kigali-Rwanda

Responsibilities

Take charge of the delivery TL of the site business, including the development of technologies and delivery solutions, and be able to support technical communication and technical solution clarification with the representative office and customer.

Monitoring and trouble shooting server, storage and networking equipment for malfunctions or failures

Installing and configuring new servers, storage devices, routers, switches and other network components

Maintaining detailed documentation of all servers and storage configurations and changes to them

Performing regular backups of data to prevent loss

Providing technical support for applications and operating systems used in the data center

Develop the capabilities of the local site design team.

Academic Qualifications

Degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, IT or relevant Field

Minimum of 3 years working experience working with and as part of diverse and high-performance team.

Work Experience and Required Competences

Have a basic command of node products such as FBB, mechanical parts, optical

cables, and ODN

Have certain project management experience and have team management experience.

Have a basic command of the test and acceptance standards of the access network or OSP/ODN passive optical network

Have certain project delivery guidance capabilities.

Good communication and influence skills. English language is preferred.

Be familiar with Huawei's site business and relevant technical key points, and be able to guide team delivery.

Be familiar with Site Power and have ability handling power issue on site
