Duties

Main duties pertaining to the Sales Representative include:

  • Expand Direct Sales by increasing Market Reach; canvassing the market, identifying suitable distributor outlets, developing supplier-distributor relationships, drafting distributor contracts, monitoring new distributor stocks and sales.
  • Handle and maintain good relationships with high-value clients and market the corporate portfolio.
  • Initiate sales through marketing existing products and inform clients of new products.
    Promote Cross-selling.
  • Follow up on all inquiries given by the company and close sales as expected.
  • Coordinate and manage all confirmed projects until satisfactorily completed.
  • Follow up on invoicing and payments of all projects handled.
  • Report daily by email on your intended schedules and the outcomes of your meetings to Senior Management.
  • You shall be responsible for accomplishing all tasks assigned
    to you to the best of your ability.

    Requirements
  • Degree in Business/Marketing or related field
  • At least 5 year's working experience in a similar field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A Certificate of Good Conduct
  • Sales and customer focused with good negotiation skills
  • Highly motivated with excellent appearance
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Be able to work on own initiative
  • Be prepared to travel and be competent to do cold calls
  • Must be confident on the phone and have a good command of the English language
  • Needs to be well organized and structured
  • Needs to be able to compile accurate reports and quotations
