NFT Consult General Ledger Accounts Clerk Jobs in Uganda

Job Summary;
  • The GL Accounts Clerk is responsible for recording/posting of invoices, DN/CN and Petty cash relating to general expenses in the system.
  • Prepares payments for suppliers and attends the queries of suppliers.

    Main Duties
  • Monitor and control all issued LPO related to general expenses by coordinating with the concerned departments.
  • Book and monitor all general expenses invoices against LPO or Contract and ensure the compliance with the company DOA
  • Book and monitor all intercompany DN/CN and reconcile the balances with the other business units.
  • Book and monitor all petty cash payment vouchers and reconcile the petty cash ledger.
  • Prepare payments for non-inventory suppliers and attend to their daily queries & reconciliation.
  • Monitor and control accruals and provisions analysis and reconciliation.
  • Monitor and control prepayment analysis and reconciliation.
  • Monitor and control Balance Sheet analysis and accounts reconciliation.
  • Attend the physical stock takes when held and required by the Chief Accountant.
  • And any other duty assigned to the employee by management.

    Qualifications, Experience and Requirements;
  • 2-3 years and of relevant job experience.
  • Bachelor degree Finance or Commerce
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Fluency in English
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent analytical and investigation skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • High Sense of responsibility
  • Problem solving skills with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and
  • customer care skills.
  • Team Player
