Our Client is a leading GPS Vehicle tracking & IOT Technology Company based in Uganda.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Finance Administration Manager will be responsible for Finance, Accounting, Forecasting, Budgeting, Cash Flow, Investment, Treasury management and effectively managing the Company's assets and Liabilities.

Responsibilities

Developing and implementing robust accounting systems with appropriate controls that help safeguard the Company's assets and support the Company's strategic direction.

Setting operational policies for the Business, developing and taking accountability for the Business Plan.

Preparation of the annual financial reports / accounts for the Board, statutory purposes and record keeping, risk management and Compliance.

Monitoring Compliance with statutory provisions in respect to Financial reporting, Taxation, other statutory payments in line with the best Financial operating , market and industry practice

Managing the Company's credit policy and effective follow-up of Debts.

Overseeing the Actuarial valuation of the Business.

Assisting in formulating the Financial direction of the Business including preparation of annual Budgets and long term business plans as well as supporting tactical initiatives.

Providing leadership to the Company's finance team to meet the Business performance goals.

Be the lead Financial advisor to the Company Management Team, Directors and the entire Company, for prudent management and utilization of Company's resources

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or any other Business related field.

A Masters

Degree in Finance or MBA is also highly desirable.

Professional Qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CFA or CIMA;

Atleast Five (5) Year’s experience in a Financial Management environment.

Ability to think strategically, but with hands on pragmatic approach to implementation of strategy.

Ability to interact at Board level and participate in strategic decision-making;

Proven track record of strategic financial application ie. Ability to put forward sound strategic recommendations based on the analysis and interpretation of the numbers.

Strong Organizational skills and attention to detail with an ability to prioritize and work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

An enthusiastic team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build strong collaborative relationships both internally and externally.

Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and MS Office applications of Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point is essential.
