Role PurposeThe role is to assure best value at procurement of resources and services cross Service Lines from ARPs, SPs, ASPs and FSOs in accordance to related scope.
Have all needed information on supplier base in rollout and field maintenance operations and acts on supplier performance issues.
Secure the correct contractual prices according to agreed scope.
Ensure OHS competence and statutory compliance of supplier. Owner of SoW and Price models.
Part of supplier evaluation, selection and KPI requirements. Responsible for forecasting and (A)SP Operational Governance Framework. (A)SP in this document refers to ASP/SP/FSO/ARP.
Role Typical Interfaces
Interface between Implementation Management and/or Project and Service Delivery organization from Ericsson, FSO, ARP’s, ASP’s, SP’s, as well as other functions e.g. Local Distribution, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Supply and Sourcing, neighboring function involved in the rollout and Managed Services MSIP.
Role Tools & Resources
Good knowledge in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
Ericsson tools like, standard rollout tools, OHS Incident Reporting Tool, CMS and Site Handler/EriSite and WFM or equivalent.

Role Responsibilities
Organize and coordinate work
In agreement with the Customer, Implementation Management and Project Manager plan the rollout
Based on the rollout plan forecast the (A)SP demand and secure the necessary capacity
Secure call-off process to issue purchase orders towards suppliers and orders for internal resources
Secure supplier progress reporting and information flows
Working in 1 – 4 Service Area’s
Working in more than 4 Service Area’s or more than 1 service line
Ensure compliance with local safety regulations
Propose new delivery/efficiency models for (A)SP management
Drive regional organization/coordination and act as SPOC
Participate in sourcing activities
Support Solution Engineering to create Scope of Work, Purchasing price items. Define supplier performance requirements for sourcing including OHS performance monitoring
Assist sourcing with the technical evaluation and on-site assessment of (A)SP candidates
Assist sourcing with the development of (A)SP Selection criteria and with negotiation and selection
Working in 1 – 4 Service Area’s
Working in more than 4 Service Area’s or more than 1 service line
Define strategy for (A)SP / FSO Delivery Mix and assist sourcing in defining site award plans
Support sourcing with Supplier Development strategy and processes.
Participate in tender phase
Support Solution Engineering scope
implementation services for tender
Quantify implementation services or Field Maintenance in tender
Together with Sourcing and OHS make cost estimation of implementation services or Field
Maintenance Participate, when needed, in Customer negotiations
Follow changes in local industry standards and laws and (A)SP market trends

Onboarding of (A)SPs
Onboarding of new (A)SP into Ericsson and secure (A)SP project kick off
Develop and secure (A)SP competence development and training plans
Secure (A)SPs have all required licenses, specific
tools, permits and certification before commencement of project
Working in 1 – 4 Service Areas
Working in more than 4 Service Area’s or more than 1 service line
Secure (A)SPs are informed of Ericsson ways of working, processes, performance requirements and governance model.
Plan and follow-up of Quality assurance/performance including OHS
Secure that quality and performance measurement is in place and continuously measured.
Act on OHS quality and performance issues.
Establish (A)SP Operational Governance with regular meeting to follow-up OHS,quality and performance progress.
Responsible for (A)SP metrics and score card reporting on quality and OHS performance including KPIs Secure record on calibration dates on tools, instrument, and safety equipment.
Recommend Bonus/Penalties conditions application, if applicable.
Provide information about (A)SP Quality bench-marking, including improvement recommendations.

Execute the Ericsson “Consequent Management” procedure where applicable.
Follow up & control (A)SP quality & budget
Secure the continuous application on contracted prices.
Act on deviation on contractual prices application and/or activities delivered.
Regular meeting to follow-up budget and prices application, incl. contract improvements recommendations.
Responsible for implementing a forecasted budget for (A)SP costs and spend management.
Secure proper follow-up and control of (A)SP budget according to delivery needs and contractual terms, if any.
Provide information about (A)SP Price benchmarking, including improvement recommendations.
Working in 1 – 4 Service Area’s .
Working in more than 4 Service Area’s or more than 1 service line.
Regional follow-up and consolidation of regional result and act on deviation.
Apply Service Delivery Process and Models
Secure that the Global Service Delivery Process and Models are followed.
Drive adherence to global processes & models, and execute improvement initiatives.
Participation in governance forums and secure implementation of governance framework.
Role Qualifications and Experience
Several years of experience in the work area of responsibility.
Dependent on Work Area, typical experience from working as a Project Manager, Sourcing, Site Engineer, Civil Works construction, Civil Work design, Turn-key rollout incl. Site Acquisition Managed Services etc.
Experience of working for an (A)SP in a management position is considered “a strong plus”. Training and awareness in local Statutory OHS requirements. Customer requirements.
