NFT Budget Control & Financial Reporting Manager Jobs in Rwanda

Summary of the Role:

This job is responsible for allocating to our client a realistic and rationally and transparently managed budget, and providing timely, accurate and credible financial reports to our client.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Budget preparation and control

Design effective budget models for every departments and the entire company;

Analyze financial information (revenues, expenditures and cash management) to ensure all operations are within budget;

Present annual budget to the management;

Review budget requests for approval;

Prepare, analyze and comment on the budget execution reports;

Forecast future budget needs.

Financial Reporting

Manage our client’s financial reporting process, including timely preparation of financial statements and quarterly reports to the Management and Board of Directors;

Check whether financial statements are in accordance with international standards;

Develop and maintain the accounting policies;

Develop monthly and quarterly financial report;

Lead financial reporting projects, such as implementation of changes in accounting standards;

Review the publicly disclosed corporate financial information for accuracy and consistency.

Skills & Competencies

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant

• Relevant certification (e.g. CMA, ACCA or CPA) will be preferred

Experience

3 years of experience in accounting and budgeting

He/she must also possess:

• Awareness of business trends

• Familiarity with financial accounting statements

• Advanced MS Excel skills

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
