New Kenya Co-operative Creameries Head of Employee Relations (1) Jobs
Key ResponsibilitiesTo manage disciplinary/grievances as per policy, labor & government regulations;
To communicate recommendations on disciplinary action to be taken;
To facilitate building of managerial capacity of management staff on employee relations in
conjunction with T & D
To liaise with legal section & company lawyers on all legal issues relating to staff;
To manage exits & separation process;
To develop & review Employee Relations policies in line with best practice & legal requirement;
To report on turnover analysis, disciplinary cases analysis & other employee relations trends
To facilitate building of managerial capacity of management staff on employee relations and
coaching of managers to handle disciplinary issues.
Any other duties as assigned by Immediate Supervisor
The Candidate Specifications:
Master’s Degree in HR with a bias in Industrial Relations
Bachelor’s Degree in HR related subjects/social sciences or any other related field.
Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management
Valid professional membership from IHRM – K or other relevant institution
Professional practicing license from IHRM
A minimum of three years relevant experience is required with a particular bias on Employee
Relations
7 years’ experience in middle management coupled with 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
Essential Skills
Considerable knowledge of current trends and practices in HR
Prior experience supervising a unit/others doing similar work
Advanced presentation skills
Well – developed report writing skills
Organizational skills
Time management skills and attention to details
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
High standards of personal integrity
Ability to prioritize activities and multi-task
Problem solving and Analytical skills
Sense of initiative
Adaptable to change

New Kenya Co-operative Creameries Chief Manager Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance Jobs
Key Responsibilities
Planning, organizing and controlling the internal audit program as well as providing guidance and direction on the overall process
Reviewing and evaluating systems and standard operating procedures, including administrative controls, and identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending on the same
Overseeing risk management and internal controls as well as governance processes
Ensuring the management policies and procedures are followed
Managing the staff in the Audit, Risk & Compliance department as well as coordinating and allocating tasks and assignments
Leading risk management activities within business units, ensuing that risk management programmers are robust. In addition, lead in the identification of issues at business units and champion the closure of audit issues identified
Any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
Candidate Specifications
Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting / Actuariel Science, or Business related field
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance/Actuarial Science or business related field
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Internal Systems Auditor (CISA)
8 years’ experience in Senior Management preferably in an Audit firm
3 years’ experience in similar position
Excellent risk mapping and identification skills
Demonstrable professional auditing capabilities
Excellent communication,
analytical and report writing skills.
Experience Auditing ERP environment
Member of ICPAK or other relevant professional Body

Demonstrated leadership and managerial capabilities
Prior experience managing a section in a busy environment

New Kenya Co-operative Creameries Head of Business Strategy & Development (1) jobs
Key Responsibilities
Managing and communicating the overall strategic business planning of the company
Guiding and liaising with department heads towards achieving short and long term strategic goals as well as business growth
Proactively formulating, evaluating and implementing concepts for business development
identified across the company
Coordinating and implementing the Boards strategic thinking and forward planning / forecast of the company
Preparing and producing periodic strategic management performance and forecasting reports
Assessing the risk at key levels of the organization and appraising projects to determine their viability
Facilitating the integration of risk assessment processes in the organization and liaising with the Heads of Department to determine response strategies to risk
Conducting competitor analysis and other studies to establish performance indicators and
determine the company’s position and performance
Preparing periodic reviews of programs and processes
Updating periodic indicators of the company’s short and long term goals/objectives
Guiding the process of establishing strategy and performance management systems within the
organization
Coordinating the Government performance contracting process
Any other duties as assigned by Immediate Supervisor
The Candidate Specifications:
Master’s degree in Strategic Management / Business Administration or related field
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, or Business related field
At least 7 years’ experience in senior management with 3 years in similar position

Demonstrated integrity and leadership qualities – Administer Psychometric Test
