New Kenya Co-operative Creameries Quality Assurance Officer Careers
Key ResponsibilitiesActing as the organizations food-safety team leader and overseeing the laboratory activities at the factory to ensure quality at all times
Analyzing and interpreting the laboratory results and advising the relevant department
Undertaking frequent inspections of the factory and its surroundings and identifying safety hazards and informing the relevant authorities of the same
Conducting quality audits at the factory, depot and in the market and reporting on the same along with recommendations on improvements
Training employees on food safety and proper manufacturing practices
Reporting on quality, stock utilization and cost of quality to the head office
Handling customer complaints pertaining to quality matters
Participating in the analysis of returned products
Any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
Candidate Specifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science & Technology / Dairy Technology or related field
Certified in Quality Management System (QMS) will be an added advantage
5 - 6 years’ experience
Work Related Skills
Proficient with office computer applications
Prior experience supervising a unit / others doing similar work
Excellent analytical skills
Well-developed report writing skills
Time management skills and attention to detail
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated supervisory skills

Key Responsibilities
Supervising the production staff
Planning, coordinating and executing production daily activities
Ensuring quality standards are achieved and maintained
Controlling, reconciling and balancing factory/plant stocks
Preparation of periodic reports

Candidate Specifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science / Dairy Science & Technology or related field
5 - 6 years’ experience in a similar job in a busy environment

New Kenya Co-operative Creameries Procurement Manager Careers
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate the procurement of goods, works and services for the company
Prepare requests for proposals
Prepare and follow up of tender documents in liaison with user department
Prepare letters of invitation to bidders to attend tender openings
Facilitate tender opening and tender evaluation sessions
Maintain a database of pre-qualified suppliers
Review contracts and liaise with the legal department on preparing service level agreements based on tender requisitions.
Offer Secretarial Services to Procurement Committee
The Candidates Specifications
The candidate must possess the following qualifications
Bachelors of Science in Supply Chain Management or Business Related Degree
Masters in degree will be an added advantage
C.I.P.S qualification
Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply or relevant body
Must be familiar with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015
Must have exposure / experience in clearing and forwarding
Have at least 5 years’ proven and significant work experience in a Procurement department in a large organization preferably in a FMCG company.
Essential Skills
Working experience in use of ERP system, SAP knowledge will be an added advantage
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent negotiation skills a must
Good analytical and report writing skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Basic supervisory skills
