Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician Jobs in Kenya

Job Description

Capturing all tickets on excel as posted on the Adrian FTTH Group and ensuring correct details are captured as per the below

Serial Nos

CRQ or INC

Customer Details (Name, Phone no, Estate)

Materials Used

Sending the daily data on tickets closed to the Operations manager every day by 9am

Monitoring all tickets and ensuring they are implemented within the given SLA by being in constant communication with the team leads on the ground

Highlighting tickets posted past SLA and taking it up with the NOC team

Taking note of Resigned tickets and highlighting time posted into our platform

Following Up on Pending tickets and updating Adrian in real time

Coordinating with Adrian NOC on tickets posted and cleanup of tickets done to ensure all data is captured

Giving Updates to Adrian Supervisors on pending tickets

Providing timely updates on fiber cuts ,degraded ports, splitters exhausted to the NOC personnel

Tracking daily ONT Utilization and sending reports daily to the Operation Manager

Doing daily reconciliation on materials used and confirming the same data with Eliakim by counterchecking previous day usage

Requesting for Materials from Adrian as and when needed

Doing a daily summary report on CRQs done, pending, reasons and posting on the Adrian Platform

Requirements

Diploma or associate degree in Information Technology or related

Must have 2 years’ experience in handling fiber maintenance-NOC scope.

Must possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Must be able to manage multiple assignments and people simultaneously.

Must be a team player, have excellent customer service and interpersonal skill
