Job PurposeThe main purpose of the role would be to lead business discussion around opportunities (Ideation) in order to firm and finalise a well formed concept and business case, to lead this change through the difference gates and ensure the implementation of changes meets the original intent.
This is done from a business perspective and in most cases involve AGILE product ownership.
Job Responsibilities
Build and maintain effective working relationships.
Ensure clients' expectations are met to the required standards.
Ensure relationships with internal and external stakeholders are built and maintained.
Ensure efficient work ethic and achievement of Business Unit strategies and goals.
Participate in the development and implement action plans to address issues raised in culture surveys.
Create a client service culture. Achieve operational excellence.
Identify and drive development and implementation of solutions.
As a product specialist you are responsible for:
Manage ROI and make sure to deliver business benefits
Ensure that what the is asked to build is aligned with what the sponsor, stakeholders and users want
Ensure management, stakeholders, sponsors are informed, and the vision is aligned with their wishes
Manage stakeholder expectations regarding requirements and project boundaries (timeframes, quality, technical constraints etc.)
Maintain the product backlog:
Prioritise items within the
product backlog
Continuously answer questions to add detail to product backlog items
Communicate about the product within the organisation (e.g. sprint review attendance and invites, forecasting, management reporting, sponsor liaison)

Qualifications
NQF Level
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Engineering / Science / Maths / Economics / Stats or a degree in Information Systems
