Job Purpose Support the formulation of marketing strategy and the annual marketing plan and manage and effect the implementation of the marketing plan with the objective of influencing targeted consumers or businesses to choose Nedbanks products and services and to achieve specific measurable business and marketing objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure transformational targets are met.
Contribute to a culture of transformation by participating in Nedbank culture building initiatives, business strategy, and CSI.
Stay abreast of developments in field of expertise, ensuring personal and professional growth.
Understand and embrace the Nedbank vision and values, leading by example.
Address issues raised in culture surveys.
Create a client service culture.
Achieve operational excellence.
Encourage team to generate innovative ideas and share knowledge.
Highlight risk by reporting exceptions.
Ensure compliance and maintain clean audits.
Ensure accuracy by implementing preventative and corrective activities.
Create a culture of continuous improvement.
Ensure projects are implemented and delivered.
Meet reporting requirements.
Make and implement informed business decisions.
Optimise productivity.
Ensure business continuity by drafting, updating and testing Business Continuity Plans (BCP's).
Implement a professional client interfacing environment.
Understand and meet stakeholder (including Regulators) needs.
Obtain and provide feedback by meeting with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage performance of staff by implementing performance agreements and ensuring a clear vision.
Mentor and coach staff on identified performance gaps.
Motivate staff to perform and contribute to the success of the business by creating environment of teamwork through engaging with staff (sharing information) and encouraging participation in decision making processes.
Follow the recruitment process when recruiting talent.
Maintain a high performing team and ensure an environment for optimal performance is created by identifying talent pool through career conversations, using the talent grid principles and developing talent retention programmes.
Manage the onboarding process of new employees.
Meet SLAs. Minimise financial and reputational risk.
Contribute to department budget.
Minimise operational costs by managing cost effectively.
Increase Nedbank's market share and revenue.
Reduce revenue leakage.
Minimum Experience Level
3 - 4 years related experience in a Financial Institute
1 - 2 year's experience in a similiar role would be an advantage
Requirements
Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Tertiary qualification
in Fashion or Clothing design would be advantageous
Must be proficient in MS Excel
Valid driver's licence and own reliable transportation
Succesfull applicant must be prepared to travel

Ability to understand and apply knowledge of customer insights; CVP frameworks and products and services features & benefits to ensure effective marketing campaigns
Analytical skills - ability to process information/insights resulting in plans/ interventions/campaigns that are effective
Creative evaluation skills - ability to judge creativity in the context of briefs; effective business solutions; & marketplace impact and dynamics
Influencing stakeholders to obtain buy-in for concepts and ideas
Sharing information in different ways to increase stakeholders understanding.
Brainstorming ways of improving a product or situation
Working with a group to identify alternative solutions to a problem.
Interacting with diverse people
Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
