NCHE - Library/Records Assistant Jobs in Uganda
Duties and Responsibilities Reports to the Administrative Assistant in the Directorate of Quality Assurance and Accreditation of NCHE;
Organizing all records of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Directorate;
Supporting the Directorate in archiving all files;
Ensuring easy retrieval of documents within the Directorate;
Creating and maintaining NCHE databases to ensure quick retrieval of information;
Developing a file system for ease of retrieval
Performing any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by superiors.
Person Specifications
Minimum of a Diploma in Records and Archives Management, Library and Information Management or its equivalent in a related field;
Must be ICT literate;
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills;
Knowledge of Management Information Systems is essential.
Expected Outputs
Robust filing system of documents in the Directorate for easy retrieval;
All files archived;
Directorate meeting records including notices and minutes archived;
Record of correspondences and publications within the Directorate
Registry of documents through Directorates
