Duties and Responsibilities

Reports to the Administrative Assistant in the Directorate of Quality Assurance and Accreditation of NCHE;

  • Organizing all records of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Directorate;

  • Supporting the Directorate in archiving all files;

  • Ensuring easy retrieval of documents within the Directorate;

  • Creating and maintaining NCHE databases to ensure quick retrieval of information;

  • Developing a file system for ease of retrieval

  • Performing any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by superiors.

    Person Specifications

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Records and Archives Management, Library and Information Management or its equivalent in a related field;

  • Must be ICT literate;

  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Knowledge of Management Information Systems is essential.

    Expected Outputs

  • Robust filing system of documents in the Directorate for easy retrieval;

  • All files archived;

  • Directorate meeting records including notices and minutes archived;

  • Record of correspondences and publications within the Directorate

  • Registry of documents through Directorates
