Job Purpose StatementTo drive end-to-end user experience design, including research, ideation, conception,
detailed design, prototypes and validation across multiple products and areas. Working across multiple cross functional product teams, the Head of UX will seek to create and influence the creation of the ultimate user experience to create business impact while ensuring a consistent design language.
Key Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities)FinancialChampion improvements to the existing customer digital banking channels to increase adoption and usage
Recommend ways to reduce on costly channels and
increase usage of more efficient channels for customers to access banking services
Identify, recommend and help execute improvements on existing products to improve the Customer’s Experience to increase uptake and utilization
Internal Business Processes
Drive the design, concept and prototype sessions of new products & channels to express the customer expectations
Create user flows that can be used for usability
evaluation, stakeholder review, or development
purposes
Create a framework to collect and analyse data on channel & product performance and areas of
improvement
Define recommendations to the channel & product teams for improvement of the user experience
Help lead the development of the Customer
Experience and Business Operations product roadmap
and delivery of all functional projects across systems
Interact with executive management, business
operations, business product management, and multiple technical teams to define and deliver delightful channel & product features
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation
management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and
balance the customer needs versus technical
constraints.
Customer
Define customer needs and translate them into concepts for adoption by the relevant delivery teams to improve the CES score for the relevant channels
Plan user research activities such as participant recruiting and scheduling
Prepare, document and present findings and
recommendations to stakeholders
Translate customer channel & product feedback to actions to be adopted by the Product & User
Experience teams
Analyse customer insights from different sources for market intelligence to be used for product
improvement
Integrate customer centricity into the channel & product development process through collaboration with the relevant business and technical teams
Learning and Growth
Attend trainings scheduled by the HR training & development unit
Take courses to improve relevant skills required to perform the role optimally
Ideal Job Specifications
Academic:
University student in Business or Marketing related discipline
Professional:
Data analytics qualifications desirable
Proficiency in office automation and banking technologies.
Desired Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Banking, Data Analytics and/or Customer Experience
Experience in user research, user experience mapping, usability testing and other related disciplines
Experience in implementation of electronic platforms and solutions
Ideal Job Specifications
Experience in value chain management is an added advantage

Technical Competencies
Must provide a strong work portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding and application of UI best practices.
Experience setting up user research programs and testing methodologies that drive design decisions.
Proven and successful working experience in information architecture, consumer experience design, interaction design, or a similar role.
Experience using design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator.
Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3 Java script.
Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
Interpersonal and people skills that facilitate smooth interactions between himself
and all the parties as well as enable the smooth performance of tasks in crossfunctional settings.
