Job Details

Job Purpose Statement

  • To support the Bank's Payment and Financial Markets Operations and, maintain operational standards as per set regulations and procedures both by the NCBA, Bank of Uganda and the Uganda Bankers Association and above all to support effective and efficient customer service delivery.

    Key Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Adhere to set procedures to prevent exposure within the clearing and payments operations functions

  • Expense control

  • Revenue collection

  • Capture outgoing RTGS in Perago.

  • Capture and Amend all T.Ts in Swift i.e USD, EUR & GBP

  • Process nested payments i.e AUD, ZAR, JPY in both core banking systems and SWIFT.

  • Process Online RTGS and TTs in SWIFT.

  • Capture Recalls, Amendments, Transfers and all other swift messages.

  • Capture outward EFTs in T24 (single Payments).

  • Process inward payments i.e T.Ts, RTGS after confirming cover.
