Key Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities)

Claims Management

  • Recording, Registering and processing of
    claims from end to end within SLAs

  • Claims tracking by regularly following up with
    underwriters and ensuring prompt settlement of the claims as per the SLAs.

  • Updating customers and Relationship
    Managers on the status of the claim

  • Preparation of Claims summary reports on the
    NCBA Bancassurance current claims historical claims and other statistical reports advised by the line manager

  • Notifying the Bancassurance team on any risk
    issues and proposing the necessary risk improvement

    Customer Service

  • Attend to clients – walk ins, clients reaching
    out via E-Mail and Phone calls.

  • Detailed explanation of insurance policies to
    customers and staff (internal customers) agency claims, support the claims manager in preparation of claims reports and recommendations, manage all walk-in claims customers and administer service

  • Support the claims manager in resolution of
    all internal and external customer claim disputes

  • Resolution of claims related issues raised
    on CRM within the stipulated SLA

    Operational compliance / post sales processing

  • Ensure quality control in all aspects of claims processing as stipulated in the procedures
    and product manuals.

  • Follow up with the underwriters on claims
    processing to ensure customer service standards are met

  • Support customer experience team in
    generating customer survey feedback after
    closure of claims.
