Job DescriptionPurpose:Forklift maintenance Engineer perform routine diagnostic checks & monitor on forklifts and lifting equipment's, lift, doors/windows, gates and loading/unloading docks, identify problems and perform repairs.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies for the site forklifts and lifting equipment's, lift, doors, gates and loading/unloading docks to facilitate the achievement of key outputs of the Product Supply Function.
Supervise contractors during the outsourced maintenance works, installation and qualification of new equipment.
Perform and deploy for above equipment's and not listed, preventive/predictive maintenance procedures according to the plant maintenance strategy.
Prepare and organize overall responsible area engineering documentation for the factory.
Adhere all Environmental, Health and Environment (EHS) regulation & policy of the company, assess risks and execute the proper work permit from initiating to closing stage for any maintenance and project activity under the supervision of the engineer
Main Areas of Responsibility:
Evaluate and Monitor Forklifts, lifting equipment, industrial doors and gates to verify that equipment work properly, maintain a maintenance log and analyze the results to ensure they meet company standards.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies and daily check for the site forklifts and lifting equipment's, lift, doors, gates and loading/unloading docks to facilitate the achievement of key outputs of the Product Supply Function.
Order and maintain sufficient quantity of spare parts to maintain the equipment functionality.
Read and understand operating manuals, troubleshooting guides and wiring schematics and prepare maintenance plans, schedules and execute them accordingly.
Takes measurements of work performed; keeps records of and reports on material consumption, man power and equipment used and costs involved in any outsourced repair and maintenance work;
Prepares a completion report of activities/projects whether they have been done according to drawings/circuits and specifications, and upon the approval of the completion report, supports provisional and final acceptance with as built drawings/documentation;
Creating good communication & information to production team, Continuous improvement of on technical availability and reliability of machine and equipment.
Prepare contract documents to be signed with winning bidders in collaboration with legal
and corporate affairs service; Hand over all necessary documents and resources to the contractor after signing of the contract for the project kick off;
Ensure established working practices, procedures and safety systems, procedures, guidelines, and regulations are properly complied with JTI/NTE.
Follow and support the contractors to finish the works on time and prepares timely reports.
Adhere and respect company EHS golden rules/policies, risk assessment and work permit standards and closed loop process.
Perform other activities as instructed & required, which do not contradict with JTI safety rules and code of conduct.
Job Requirements
Education:
BSC degree in Automotive/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
Work Experience:
3 up tp 5 years of work experience.
Skills:
A proven track record of at least 3 years of stable record in multinational and standardized firms.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholder in delivering needed preventive and improvement maintenance activities for Forklifts, lifting equipment, industrial doors and gates.
Ability to conduct relevant training modules for staff that deals with onboard technology.
Modern, energetic, self-starter, display initiative and proposes pragmatic new ideas / approaches
Knowledge and Skills on automotive mechanical, electrical and electronics, battery systems.
Basic knowledge of industrial doors, gates, loading docks, lifts maintenance.
Electrical P&ID reading and interpretation drawing & planning of equipment maintenance.
Computer skills; AutoCAD, Microsoft Windows (MS-excel, MS-word, Internet & email).
Good communication and arrangement skills with colleagues and contractors.
Good Team work with positive attitude for continuous improvement.
