Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan supervise, evaluate and co-ordinate nursing care at an out-patient department /ward in a hospital or a health center;

  • Provide support a n d health education t o patients a n d relatives.

  • Undertake practical training, counseling and guiding nursing students in the clinical area; and

  • Orientation of new students.

    Requirements for Appointment

  • A Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Nursing from a recognized University.

  • Registration certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya

  • Valid Practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya

  • Certificate in Computer applications from a recognized institution
