National Police Service Commission Manager Transport Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee transport function in the Commission;

Formulate and implement transport policies in the Commission;

Responsible for Motor Vehicles maintenance and repairs;

Oversee activities related to dispatching and routing of Commission’s Vehicles;

Monitor operations to ensure that staff members( Drivers) in the Section comply with administrative policies & procedures, Safety rules and government transport Regulations;

Implement schedule transport services; and

Monitor spending on maintenance and repairs to ensure that the expenses are consistent with approved budgets; and Promote safe work activities by conducting frequent safety checks and report to
the administrator.

Requirements for Appointment

Bachelor’s degree in any Management Course, Public Administration, Commerce , Fleet management;

Diploma in fleet / Transport Management;

Ten (10) years’ experience in transport management; and

Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
